HKU’s Record Breaking
Marathon Team 2007 is on the mark!
1,810 runners who are HKU alumni, students and staff will join the
Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon on March 4, 2007.
At the Kick-Off Ceremony on February 10, 2007, on behalf of the HKU
Marathon Team, Vice-Chancellor Lap-Chee Tsui, Pro-Vice-Chancellor C F
Lee and Prof Paul Cheung, Chairman of the Organising Committee received
the HKU Marathon Flag from alumnus Dr Stanley Ho. This was followed by a
rousing rendition of the HKU Marathon cheer and a stretching exercise as
a warm-up to the coming marathon.
