At the reunion on May 29, Vice-Chancellor

Professor Paul Cheung, Chairman of the HKU Marathon Team Organising
Committee announced that HKU is getting ready for the
HKU Centenary Marathon Team of 2011.

Since 2006, over
4,600
members of the HKU Family have joined the HKU Marathon Team to run in
the Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon.

Congratulations to medical graduate Dr Angela Leung
who was the CHAMPION of 10Km Challenge Women's Master 2!
Vice-Chancellor and Council Member Mr Benjamin Hung
ran in the "Leaders Cup" - a 1.8km race for community and business
leaders.
Court Member Mr David Mong and MEICOM graduate Ms
Pauline Tse share their joy with the team when completed their full
marathon.
A big THANK YOU to the Support Team of over 150
students, staff members and alumni and to the members of the HKU
Bachelor of Chinese Medicine (Full-time) Alumni Association who provided
therapy services to the runners.

The HKU Marathon Team has won the Most Supportive
Group Award of the Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon for the fifth
consecutive year!
