Support HKU!
Thank you for joining the HKU Marathon Team. Over 1,000 alumni,
students, staff and friends of the University will run with the
Vice-ChancelThank you for joining the HKU Marathon Team. Over 1,000 alumni,
students, staff and friends of the University will run with the
Vice-Chancellor Lap-Chee Tsui at the Standard Chartered Hong Kong
Marathon on February 12, 2006!
We are
proud of you not only for daring to take the Marathon challenge but also
for your endorsement of our aims:
- Building unity
- Promoting fitness of mind and body
- Developing the Marathon spirit
This is a record, a pride of the University that we all share!
The countdown to HKU's Centenary in 2011 has begun and the
Vice-Chancellor's Centenary Vision—a blueprint for HKU's future
success—is under development. To show our support, we would like to
invite you to an extraordinary challenge, the
"United We Support HKU" fundraising campaign.
Please invite your families and friends to support you in the Marathon
by making donations to the University of Hong Kong for our century long
vision of building "sapientia et virtus" , meaning "wisdom and
virtue".
The recently introduced om alumni and students will be matched dollar-for-dollar
by our alumnus Dr Stanley Ho.
